   it’s a pity Russia couldn’t get bonus points for the tries, against italy and australia scored 3 , needed 1 more , also it would have been great if russia won the usa, but i think all russians can be proud of this team, some of this tries are amazing and worth seeing several times. congratulations ! I hope in the future we will see Russia winning world cup matches , from a Catalonian rugby player , supporter of Russia 😀

    They played well but came no where close to even making the finals, they were relegated after the 3rd round.

    Russia played well but to say they were “unlucky not to win that world cup” is bullshit. If they played in 6 Nations or the Rugby Championship they’d be well behind. They need better series throughout Russia to develop more.

    That 2nd try against IRE was one of the tries of the tournament. Keep such passion and spirit in the side and you will only get better. Molotsi Rossiya !

    You need more clubs and players and to develop a strong front five. It’s good to see players like Korshunov here at Wasps and emerging talents like Gresev. The back play was amongst the best at the WC of the sides outside of tier one. It’ll be a long road but Russian rugby has a bright future.

    I am so happy with Russia at the World Cup. I was in new Zealand for three weeks and bought a Russian uniform (official) at the aiport upon departure.
