    Ofcourse they are, but there some things in hockey, which you JUST CAN’T DO, for an example kicking, spearing, butt-ending etc. It doesn’t matter if it’s a little tap, or a blow which destroys your internal organs. You can’t do that. The fact is, Jenner hit Kuznetsov with the blade of his stick in spearing motion—->SPEARING. Check out the rulebook. It’s the same rule with the NHL too.
